Columbia Valley Plumbing

Columbia Valley quotes flat-rate by the job instead of billing by the hour, which removes most of the anxiety from calling a plumber. You know the number before anyone picks up a wrench.

They're strongest on the unglamorous work: water heater swaps, failing shutoff valves, slab leaks, and the pinhole copper failures common in older East Wenatchee homes. Crews are tidy and wear boot covers without being asked.

Scheduling for non-emergencies can run a week out in winter. Book ahead if the job can wait.

Flat-rate pricing sounds like a small thing until you have watched a meter run while someone drives back to the shop for a fitting. Here the price quoted at the door is the price on the invoice, and the technician carries a book that covers the standard jobs so the number does not depend on how fast anyone works. For diagnostic work they charge a fixed trip fee and apply it to the repair, and they will say clearly when a fix is a patch versus a real solution — a distinction that matters in homes where the plumbing has been repaired four different ways over forty years.
